I’ve made quite a few changes to the site, but they are all in the background, minor layout tweaks, and I’ve got the site much more HTML4 compliant.

The BBC website (international version) has just adoped a design style with ‘tabs’ at the top to aid navigation. And, despite my initial ‘so what’ response, I looked at the site and found that in fact I rather like the design. I may even use something like that when this site next gets a makeover. November 10th, 2005 | Owen…to upgrade my server. I am just about to shut it down, it’s been running a long time: Apache stats are: Nothing spectacular, but a record for me. February 24th, 2004 | OwenWebcam is now online, the images can be pretty terrible, especially when the sun is pouring into my apartment, but the page itself is classy, even if I say it myself. February 18th, 2004 | OwenHummm.. My Webcam is set-up but I obviously need to do a load of work since it only shows images in low light levels. During daylight you just get a white image. February 11th, 2004 | OwenOops, some bad Apache/SSL configuration. I’ll fix it soon. December 3rd, 2003 | Owen August 6th, 2003 | Owen.. following from my previous post. I’ll be deinstalling the suck-arse user interface, since the system is purely a server system. And will not actually need a screen attached to it, it will make a better choice for this than Windoze. |
