Interesting days in the Gaza strip, in that religious fanatics have flocked to the scene, and a bit of me is glad to see their frustration. I feel like this is some restitution for the Palestinians who have lost their homes. The ordinary settlers have my sympathy though, they were told by the fanatics that the land was theirs, learning that it wasn’t must have been a bitter pill.

Having awarded all the big Iraqi reconstruction projects to Bush supporting companies. The Americans are now throwing some crumbs to their other ‘partners’ in the war. Of course, they’re banning companies from anti-war countries from participating. So that’s all right then.

Our fight to keep the settlements and suppress the Palestinian people is killing us. It is killing our right to live safely in the country of Israel. A very small group of radical Israelis is leading the sane majority to catastrophe.
That’s a quote from a Captain in the Israeli military. I really should remember that not everybody in Israel follows the failed policies of force.
